Month, Year

— How I see the world

Things I actually believe

Not polished LinkedIn opinions. Real ones — built from years of building, failing, and compounding.

01

Depth is the only real moat.

In a world addicted to fast and shallow, going deep is the one thing that actually compounds. Speed fades. Depth builds.

02

Consistency is criminally underrated.

Not because people don’t believe in it — because almost nobody actually does it past the uncomfortable middle. That gap is the opportunity.

03

Compounding doesn't respect category boundaries.

Commit to deep work in one area long enough, and you’ll start winning in places you didn’t plan for. The return travels across domains.

04

Most people quit at exactly the wrong moment.

The results are always on the other side of the timeline most people give up at. Month 18 looks like month 3 from the outside — but everything is different inside.

05

The only real risk is stopping too early.

Most failures aren’t failures. They’re people who stopped before the compound effect kicked in. Stay in the game long enough — the game changes.

About Vignesh Balakrishnan

I’m Vignesh Balakrishnan — founder of Deep Impression, a B2B growth marketing agency based in India. I started it because I kept seeing great companies with weak market presence. The product was there. The story wasn’t. That gap became my obsession.

[ Add 1–2 sentences about your background — where you came from, what shaped you before Deep Impression. Keep it human, not a LinkedIn bio. ]

Outside of building things: I’m either deep in the latest tech drop or planning a trip somewhere I haven’t been. Both are research.

What I'm thinking about

Thoughts on B2B growth, brand, tech. No thought leadership fluff.

Brand

Why most B2B brands are invisible — and what actually fixes it

The problem isn’t the product. It’s that nobody remembers you. Here’s how growth marketing changes that.

Founder life

What 3 years of building taught me about consistency

Not the highlight reel version. The real one — the months where nothing happened and the moment things clicked.

Mindset

The compounding effect: why deep work beats hustle in the long run

Speed gets you started. Depth gets you ahead. Here’s what I’ve observed after years of both.
